Through the GoDabo fundraising program, your charity can raise money year round when supporters complete a no-obligation consultation with any GoDabo home improvement or personal service professional. Whether they need a painter, a landscaper or a bid for solar, encourage them to GoDabo. Supporters designate your charity, select the Pro they wish to consult with, complete a consultation, and a donation is made. There is no purchase required to generate the donation. This seems too good to be true. What’s the catch?

There is no catch. Our Pros want to meet with consumers to present their products and services and are willing to pay for the opportunity. GoDabo donates a portion of this revenue to charity for every completed consultation. No purchase is required.

How much does our charity receive from each completed consultation?

GoDabo donates 15% of referral fees or 2% of GoDabo Home & Life Magazine advertising revenue per completed consultation. The actual donation amount depends on the referral source and the service category.

Do our supporters have to make a purchase or commitment to the Pro after the consultation in order for our charity to receive a donation?

Nope! We never want to force your supporters to spend money just to raise money. We make the donation after the no-obligation consultation is completed. To encourage Pro participation, your supporters may need to meet certain eligibility criteria in order to request a consultation.

Are there any setup fees or required costs to a charity to participate in GoDabo?

Nope! GoDabo is a free program to all Guidestar registered 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and other GoDabo approved nonprofits. However, charity groups may order optional items such as flyers, banners and other physical promotional items from GoDabo for a reasonable fee.

Is there a limit to how much money our charity can earn from the program?

Nope! It’s all up to you! Encourage your supporters to always use GoDabo for their home improvement needs, and your charity will continue to benefit. The more your supporters use GoDabo, the more your organization will earn!

When are the donations paid to the designated charity?

Donations are paid quarterly for the previous completed and confirmed consultations.

How do we promote our GoDabo fundraiser to our supporters?

First, be sure that your organization is enrolled with GoDabo. If it is not, you may enroll for free. Once your organization is enrolled, you will be given a custom landing page URL. You can promote your custom landing page to your supporters via email, social media postings, e-newsletters, take-home flyers, banners, events, etc. The goal is to push all of your supporters with home improvement needs to your custom landing page to request consultations and generate donations for your charity.

How long may we participate in the GoDabo fundraising program?

For as long as you like! GoDabo is a home improvement resource site that is available to consumers 24/7, 365 days per year that allows consumers to change lives with everyday choices. As long as your supporters have home improvement needs, and use GoDabo to fulfill those needs, you can raise money. The program can last forever!
