What are GoDabo referrals and referral fees?

GoDabo referrals are consultations requested through the online marketplace. GoDabo charges a referral fee for consultations completed that were derived from its Charitable Network, Social Media Marketing, and Direct-to-Home Team.

Will I pay referral fees as a GoDabo Home & Life Magazine advertiser?

As a GoDabo Home & Life Magazine advertiser, you will not be charged referral fees for consultations originating from GoDabo Home & Life Magazine or unspecified sources. GoDabo will only charge referral fees for completed consultations derived from its Charitable Network, Social Media Marketing, Direct-to-Home Team or other non-magazine marketing efforts when applicable.

How much are referral fees with GoDabo?

Referral fees vary from industry to industry. Specific pricing is available through your GoDabo representative.

When do I pay the referral fees to GoDabo?

Referral fees are billed on the 8th day after the request is submitted by the customer.

What is GoDabo's Quality Referral Guarantee?

Unlike our competitors, we do not bill you for consumer contact information, which is often inaccurate, oversold, or not validated. If you cannot reach the customer, they do not meet your preset qualifications, or they are no longer interested in your services, you won’t be charged for the referral—provided you submit an update to GoDabo. You will have 7 days from the request submission date to update GoDabo on the referral and all referrals not updated will be billed on the 8th day.

How and when are consumers qualified?

Each Pro is asked to provide a specific list of qualifications that the customer must meet in order to request and complete a consultation. When they select a specific Pro on the site, they must confirm they meet the qualifications in order to submit their request for a consultation. Additionally, when the Pro receives the consumer’s contact information, they are required to validate that the customer meets the qualifications once again over the phone prior to scheduling and completing the consultation. This process ensures quality opportunities.

Do I set my own qualifications?

Yes. Like you, we want you to only meet with qualified consumers that are in a position to purchase your products or services should they choose.

Do we get to deduct the donation from our tax return?

The donation made to charity by GoDabo is derived from the referral fee that you pay. The fee may be considered an advertising or marketing expense to your company. Please consult with your tax professional.
